1 · Database (MySQL / MariaDB)
On a local/on-site server the database is created automatically. On cPanel create the database with MySQL Databases first (create DB → create user → Add User To Database → All Privileges), then enter the exact host (usually localhost), prefixed database name, user and password here.
2 · Application & Company
Set this to the exact public URL where these files live, e.g. https://wifi.yourdomain.com (your cPanel domain, served over HTTPS). On an on-site box use its LAN address, e.g. http://192.168.88.2/mangonetpub. See PRODUCTION.md §4.
Logo: PNG/JPG/SVG/WebP · Favicon: PNG/ICO/SVG. Page text colours use readable defaults automatically — you only pick the brand primary & secondary. Everything here is editable later in Admin → Settings.
4 · MikroTik router
Create an API-enabled user on the router (System → Users) and enable IP → Services → api (or api-ssl).
Hosting the portal remotely (cPanel)? The router must be reachable from the internet: port-forward the API port on your venue's connection, put your venue's DDNS hostname / public IP in "Router IP / host" above, turn API SSL on, use a strong password, and restrict the router's API service to your host's IP. The router's Walled Garden must also allow your portal domain + Paystack. (The "Test connection" runs from this server, so it validates that exact path.)
